Who Is This Site For?
We are looking for the disabled visual artists that are looking for other visual artists for collaboration, community, and connections.
We are looking for the go-getters that are burning out because they do it all alone, or can’t move forward because the world is not built to help disabled artists.
We are looking for the people who do it all for everyone else, and wishes there were more people like you so you can get the work YOU want to do, done.
We are looking for the sparkly, spangly, super-nice disabled people who want to work with, or along-side other people doing visual art and visual art-like things.
If this is you then please fill in our contact form so we can say hi!
Who’s is behind Who Dis?
It started with one disabled artist reaching out to find other disabled artists (in other countries) for a project they had in mind.
They tried via local arts organisations (no response), government bodies (nada), online searches….(nothing)*.
So using their project management/IT/community building experience, the artist decided to fix it themselves ….and here we are!
*They did ask a friend who was super-helpful. But not everyone has super-helpful friends!
This is an AI free zone.
We acknowledge that AI can be a useful tool, but we just don’t need it here. Nor do we condone it in project work. You are free to negotiate with other collaborators on its use, but please be your genuine self when interacting with us. After all Art IS Humanity
